This is our go-to low FODMAP dinner during the week. It is insanely fast, simple, and easy to make. Plus, it only uses 8 ingredients without sacrificing flavor.

Ingredients

Turkey Burgers
  • Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
  • Ground turkey, 8 oz
  • Everyday seasoning by Fody (or sub salt + pepper)
Sweet potato fries
  • 1 sweet potato (large, skinny)
  • Olive oil, 1 tbsp
  • Everyday seasoning by Fody (or sub salt + pepper)
Salad
  • Mixed greens (or lettuce of choice)
  • Cucumber (2 inch slice, diced)
  • Cherry tomatoes (small handful, diced)
  • Low FODMAP dressing, or simple olive oil + balsamic drizzle

Instructions

  1. Sweet potato fries: Start these first. If you have an air fryer, use it. If you don’t, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Chop your sweet potato into half inch slices, then chop each slice into quarters (so you end up with cubes). Toss the cubes with a little olive oil and Fody Everyday Seasoning (or S+P). Roast on baking sheet in oven for about 35 minutes, or until tender. If airfrying, do 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
  2. Turkey burgers: While sweet potatoes cook, heat 1tbsp olive oil over medium heat in a pan. While it heats, form the ground turkey into patties. Season the tops and bottoms of each patty generously with Fody Everyday Seasoning. Place the burgers in the heated pan. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until internal temp reaches 155 degrees F.
  3. Salad: Grab a handful of greens and place on each plate that you’ll be eating from. Sprinkle the diced cucumber and diced cherry tomatoes on top of each lettuce mound. Dress with your favorite low FODMAP dressing. Done!
